Time, Love & Tenderness

Well, it's nearly time to say goodbye to 2009. Will you be glad to see the back of it? In some ways I will, as bits have been rather difficult, but I suppose on the whole I musn't grumble. I think however, there are some other difficult bits that are just beginning.

I'm finding it rather hard to believe that the Noughties could be over so soon. Didn't the Seventies and Eighties and even the Nineties last forever? How can 10 years have gone in the blink of eye? I feel I've achieved nothing! I don't even know what we're going to call the new decade - the Teens? The Tens? No one's mentioned it.

Anyhoo, I'll keep it short and say a very merry Christmas to you dear readers. Thanks for sticking with me through the rants, the terrible music and the complete stupidity. I appreciate it more than you know. Even those horrible anonymous posters and the person at work who won't reveal themselves - I love you all!

Happy New Year!

Much love

So to get you in the mood for Christmas, here are two seldom heard songs from films with a festive theme. First, it's singing polo neck Perry Como with the distinctly schlager-flavoured Christmas Dream, written especially for the film The Odessa File. Then it's Nina (without Frederick) and Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown from the grooviest of Bond films, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Both corkers.
