I've Feltz better

I see Vanessa Feltz has been announced as the Sarah Kennedy replacement.

So how long's that going to last? Everything she does seems to end in tears due to something she does. She can't help herself.

I'm not a fan. I have first-hand experience of her and found her rather brusque. Takes one to know one, I suppose. But it didn't make me warm to her exactly. Say what you like about Sarah Kennedy, she was cosy. VF is not that.

Oh well, back to BBC Breakfast.

Can you play Back Street Luv, please

If you happen to be the internet tonight, or indeed you're in the Hull area, you might want to give Matt Rudd's 70s radio show a listen on KCFM 99.8, the heartbeat of East Yorkshire (or Humberside to those not in the know), as this week it's all music chosen by me. Nothing too obvious, nothing too obscure either, but a nice mix hits from the decade of great, great music. You might find Middle Of The Road, Judie Tzuke, Jilted John, Arrival, Hotlegs, Steeleye Span, Marmalade, David Essex, Boomtown Rats and the Glitter Band. Or Not. I came up with way too many songs, so Matt's whittled them down.

Thanks Matt for letting me choose this week. I'm honoured. I hope it's a success.
