Are you worried about North Korea and the nuclear bomb? Am I? Not really. For me it's just another excuse to watch Threads. Everytime the news gets dodgy, there's nothing I like more than kicking back and watching my favourite nuclear holocaust film. I must have watched it about 500 times. The fact it's set in Britain makes it all the more resonant. Of course, I wouldn't want it to actually happen, or to live through it, however I've always found the brink of armageddon terribly exciting. That is, though, as far as I want it go.

On another note, I can't get Soley Soley, Middle Of The Road's 1971 Chirpy Chirpy Cheep follow up out of my head. That woman singer, whoever she is, has a lovely quality to her voice. I wonder why they called it a day, and also if they ever made any money. Surely they were a studio only group, put together by someone like Tony Burrows. Further investigation is needed.
