What's going on

I've been looking at this blog every day thinking 'what can I write about?'. It always goes through stages like this, when I can't think of a thing to say. I think I don't have anything to say. But I'm actually doing loads of things.

So what have I done lately? Well, after recovering my copious illnesses, I'm back on form. Had a lovely relaxing weekend, making curry from scratch (well, my wife did), watching tons of DVDs like Primal Fear (Ed Norton good, film not that bad), Wah Wah (nice scenery), Lord of The Flies, which I'd never seen before, which was great and other stuff, catching up on the TV I'd Sky+ for my wife while she was away, like Waterloo Road, ER and Hotel Babylon, etc.

I've been finalising a trip to Baltimore, which I'm tagging along with my wife who's going to a plastic surgery convention. Apparently it's the US's second most violent city. Just as well it's only for a few days. We've also just booked our now traditional anniversary getaway. This year; Stockholm. We like Scandinvia. We always go away for our anniversary. When we recount these trips but there's one year we just can't remember.

1996 Honeymoon, Compass Point, Bahamas
1997 China
1998 Portmerion
1999 Derbyshire
2000 Rutland Water (for someone else's wedding. They're now divorced. Someone opened a book on how long it would last at the reception)
2001 Biarritz
2002 ?
2003 Rome
2004 St Petersburg
2005 Amsterdam
2006 Tokyo

So why have we blanked 2002?

Anyhoo, next week I'm going to the TRIC Awards, which I've never been to before and we wait and see if my dad is going to okay. Fingers crossed everyone.

Some friends of mine are getting married at Rutland Water this summer, hope the place isn't jinxed.

Hope your dad is okay.

Thanks Rich.

Not the place, it's the people. It was never going to work from day one, and it didn't. Rutland Water is a lovely spot.
