No blogging from me for a few days (I can hear the sighs of relief, or is that just delusions of grandeur?), as I'm off to Baltimore, tagging on to one of Mrs Five-Centres very exciting work trips.
I don't know much about it. Sadly it's not the home of the balti, but it is America's second most violent city, which is nice. It's just for a few days. There's plenty to do while she's wowing the punters, so I won't be bored. Just as long as it's not too hot. I can't cope in heat and these US cities can get very humid. But I'm generally a good tourist on my own, like to go at my own pace and do what I want, without Mrs F-C wanting to pit stop for a fag every five seconds and hold me up. She knows she's better leaving me to it.
I'm not a bad shopper - I'm usually on a mission and know what I want, but I hate going with other people, especially women. There's nothing duller than womens' clothes shops. If I have to go into one with Mrs F-C - and it's a rarity - I make for the nearest seat, usually next to an equally fed up bloke. There should be a sign up saying 'Please give up this seat for someone more bored than you'.
Anyhoo, we're also celebrating Mrs F-C's birthday on Saturday. Perhaps my gift to her will be the address of this blog. Or not.

What's to do in Baltimore? You're a bit early for the Men's Lacrosse Championships.
