Are we in love?

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

No, I don't go overboard about it much either. In fact, Mrs F-C and I are very grown up about it. Okay, so I littered cards down the stairs and I'm having the biggest bunch of flowers delivered to her office, but we don't go in for all that must-go-out-to-dinner stuff. After 17 years, we don't an excuse to go out and eat. And besides, it's hideous in restaurants on Valentine's Day. Prices are sky-high and you're surrounded by tense couples struggling for conversation swapping Forever Friends cards. It's not a relaxing or fun night out.

So we're staying in. It's the way we want it.

What are you doing?

I'm cooking something special for Mr RE, as I do every year. He works hard and I'm not working at the moment so I want to treat him. I've bought him lots of little pressies and wrapped them up and got some quality wines in. Can't wait.

Showing some potential buyers around my lonely flat. Nice.

A classy night-in with Gene Hunt. Maybe we'll go out later and beat up a few nonces.

We don't go out either - it's excrutiating in very restaurant..
the tables in twos, a sorry looking rose in a vase and 'Steve Wright's Sunday Love Songs' CD on heavy rotation.

I think M and S microwave 'Ham and Mushroom Tagliatelle', a bottle of fizz and some funky sounds are on the menu for two at Cloudbase Mondo tonight

Me and Mrs T celebrated pre-Valentines yesterday. I took the day off work and we went for a walk and a picnic in Richmond Park, followed by dinner in a cosy little local restaurant in the evening - we were the only people there, and it actually was quite romantic.

I have a physiotherapy appointment this evening, and He's doing an eight-mile run around Hyde Park after work, so will probably get home around 9.30.

Er, we did go out actually, to the IVF clinic. And then to the Prince Charles Cinema (to see Two Days In Paris) and then to Pizza Express (in Chinatown, which we thought was a bit rum, yet when pizza calls...). Back home in time to watch Gene Hunt stamp Bolly Knickers on the arse.
