Let's do something we've not done for ages...

Pick five songs from the F-C ipod that are currently 'doing it for me'.

First, a nice slice of Eighties US new wave rock. It's the curiously named Tommy Tutone with 8675-309/Jenny.

Next, it's a truncated Cilla with the beautiful I've Been Wrong Before. Dig that piano.

Now, sit back and singalong with the New Christy Minstrels and Green Green. Love that hushed bit.

You can watch Rafferty turn into a cereal. It's The Teardrop Explodes and Sleeping Gas.

And finally my absolutely favourite song du jour. OMD with (Forever) Live and Die.

A fine selection, F-C.

Pedants' Corner:Rafferty turned into a 'serial' and not something you have for breakfast. It was a TV series that was piloted at the time Copey wrote the song. 'Taggart' wouldn't have scanned so well.

Thanks for clearing that one up, ISBW. It's still a mystery to me though, as i don't remember Rafferty at all.
