We went to see The Da Vinci Code. Having never read the book and knowing nothing about the story, I thought it was actually a rather jolly romp/treasure hunt. Okay, it was a bit hammy, Ian McKellan was ridiculous old ham and Audrey Tatou was rather wooden, but on the whole it was fine. Yesterday was just the sort of day to go to the cinema, and everyone else had the same idea.
I'm usually a fan of Cineworld Fulham Road, but only when it's half empty. I can't bear to sit by the rustling of crisp packets, gigglers or coughers. No wonder DVD and digital TV are on the increase. It's so much better in your own home.
If anyone's wondering why I've not updated this for ages (anyone?), then it's simply because I've had nothing to say. I'm all out of rants.
