Bored

I have the Pierces excellent track Boring going round my head.

Is it just me, or is this week going incredibly slowly? It's Tuesday, but it's been Tuesday for the last seven days, or so it would seem. Perhaps it's because I've only got tomorrow morning at work and then I'm off until next Wednesday means it's dragging. But work's quiet, Easter's out the way (workwise) so it's just the rest of the year stretching ahead.

I'm trying to think of something interesting. Well, tomorrow I'm going to a special screening of the last ep of Life On Mars at BAFTA, with cast in attendance, so that should be good. But the problem is I'm out tonight so won't really get a chance to see tonight's ep before tomorrow, so I may be at a bit of a loss when swigging a pale ale with Philip Glenister or offering Liz White a Ringo. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Nothing in the papers, nothing on TV of note (except Tracy's trial in Corrie), no music (except Boring) currently floating my boat per se. Must be the time of year. Anyone else feeling a bit jaded at the moment?

I always feel a bit low at this time of year - personal circumstances. But it's not helped by enjoying summer for five minutes, then autumn coming along for three days, is it?

Was the Life On Mars conclusion a massive disappointment? I've been forgetting to watch it, so samey have I found the episodes.

Don't know yet - it's tonight.

Summer's coming, but just not yet.
