If you happen to be the internet tonight, or indeed you're in the Hull area, you might want to give Matt Rudd's 70s radio show a listen on KCFM 99.8, the heartbeat of East Yorkshire (or Humberside to those not in the know), as this week it's all music chosen by me. Nothing too obvious, nothing too obscure either, but a nice mix hits from the decade of great, great music. You might find Middle Of The Road, Judie Tzuke, Jilted John, Arrival, Hotlegs, Steeleye Span, Marmalade, David Essex, Boomtown Rats and the Glitter Band. Or Not. I came up with way too many songs, so Matt's whittled them down.
Thanks Matt for letting me choose this week. I'm honoured. I hope it's a success.

Erm, our streaming service is down this week for maintenance reasons, which I've just found out. The F-C production will still be on air, but you won't be able to hear it unless you're in the local area.
However, rest assured that he chose 42 fine songs (well, 56 - I asked for 42 but his enthusiasm ran amok) and I shall be asking him to do so again soon. Rock on!
Oh noes! I was looking forward to that...
Booo!
Can we have the full F-C playlist, so we can imagine what it would have been like?
Do post it Matt. I'd love to see it.
We will tune in Chez Norman. For sure.
I will put the playlist up on my blog at 11pm sharp tonight - plus a list of the 'rejected' songs...!
F-C's musical taste is now naked for all to see at http://ruddmakesense.blogspot.com .
