I thought this was going to be some kind of F-C version of We Didn't Start The Fire by Billy Joel, or the middle bit of Vogue by Madonna.

Many happy returns!

Happy birthday FC! I can picture you and your fellow celebrants all clustered around a fondue set together (although Dr Ruth has trouble reaching, so she's standing on a decorative milking stool).

If only I had a reference photo, I'd have made you an icon. Still, you're probably enough of an icon as it is.

Can't you do me from memory Kitten?

Well the sun's come out in honour of your birthday, or at least it has where I am. Have a splendid time.

That's me, OP, The Gemini Man. I've not seen that since it was on.

Thanks everyone, you're all very kind. And yes, ISBW, it is a nice day for a change.

Happy Birthday FC raise a glass, shake a leg and have a tear up.

Does Mrs FC ever come out the the phrase "you're so difficult to buy for" at times like this? - see also Xmas

Many I add my felicitations to the general chorus?

Oh, and I meant to say that I'm rather touched by your comments in response to David Hepworth's blog about stag parties. I didn't realise how many previous invitations you'd spurned.

I'm also impressed how many of your co-celebrants I've heard of. Though I have no idea who Philip Olivier, Parker Stevenson or James Callis are.

Thanks TT. Well Philip Olivier was in Brookside, Parker Stevenson was in baywatch is married to Kirsty Allie (or was) and James Callis is in Battlestar Galactica

It's a shame your mother didn't hold you in for another day.
Anyway, don't eat too much birthday cake it'll cause havoc with the old love handles!
Have a good one.

A-ha, I remembered that due to the TVC karaoke archives, I did indeed have some suitable photographic reference material. (Obviously I know what you look like, but I find I can't get an actual resemblance without working from a picture.)

So, here you are! Hope it's not too unflattering...

Thanks everyone and thanks especially to Kitten - I should say that's the most flattering drawing of me ever. Loving the maroon jumper.
