Can't be arsed

Perhaps it's the weather, but it seems a lot of fellow bloggers just can't be bothered at the moment.

I could blog about Zimbabwe, Jersey going onto Central European time, Come Dine With Me, the weather, Kerry Katona, how I got Germany in the Euro 08 sweepstake and a thousand music related things.

But I just don't feel like it.

Normal service will be resumed shortly.

Watch for on-screen announcements.

Well yesterday's tidbit about Valerie Singleton was quite amusing, Five Centres (especially for someone like me who hadn't even seen the original story).

Perhaps it's a combination of the weather, Wimbledon and Big Brother?!

Oh well, perhaps you could so some work instead...

I'd like to read a blog by F-C about Come Dine With Me.

I'd like to see him on it even more.

Thanks Benjamin, you might be right.

Yes, it's hot in here, Sharon.

And Chris, I'd like to be on it. I've already thought about my dishes, one of which is signature.

Crinkle-cut chips?

There is a lot of ennui out there at the mo; with me it's the time of the year, but what about everyone else?

I can just picture you rooting through your rival's drawers and slagging off the cheap plonk, before raising aloft a derisory '4' in the taxi on the way home. It must happen.

Yes, but I would be only one to bring a gift, just to show everyone else up.

*idea*

We film a special bloggers' version of Come Dine With Me for Youtube. Who's up for it?

*serves that chicken thing with chorizo for the 567th time; makes everyone play the Nationwide board game over cheese course*

My anonymity will be compromised, so I must decline.

Or do it in a Scream mask.

*starts preparing boring asparagus dish like 8 out of 10 contestants*

Waiting patiently, enjoying reading previous posts in the interim.

Ah, the Nationwide board game, Clair. Last time we played that in the TV Cream "office", I was the winner, I'll have you know.

I'v never actually played it, Chris. It looks really boring. I prefer the Bullseye game as it's got darts and that.

Once you've spent three hours working out what you have to do, it really is entertaining, Clair. Take my word for it.

Can I bring a tin of beans and sausages? They're great, they are.
