Look at this gem from the autumn of 83.
I'm in there somewhere. Skinny ties, cardigans, drainpipe trousers, quiffs - it's just like today. But there are some shockers in there too. Girls with wedge haircuts, some nasty dye jobs and someone's wearing a string vest over their long-sleeved top.
This was sixth form. I loved that school. It was just like Hogwarts. Dark corners, evil stonework, follies in the woods.
Sigh.
So can you pick me out? (Impossible for those who have never met me).

I'd got through that particular period by then, ISBW, but there are plenty of others there who do and some who thought they were.
That's far too small to see.
I'm going for the one in the turban.
I still have a piece of mosaic from one of the follies...it's been everywhere with me and has a place on my dressing table (what an old-fashioned word, do people still say that apart from me?)
