What doesn't kill you...

We all have those nights where we're tossing and turning, can't get off to sleep, lie there with things churning through your mind, getting hot and throwing the covers off, getting cold and pulling back over you, looking at the alarm clock which is mocking you with its superquick countdown to getting up time at which, just as you have to haul your carcass out of bed, you fall into a deep slumber. It's a nightmare.

Thankfully it doesn't happen very often, but when it does it comes with an added hell. All the while through this torment you have a song going round your head that you just can't shake off. Certain bars of one or certain lyrics just keep swirling around your mind in a tortuous psychedelic whirl, driving you to the very brink of insanity.

When you awake the next day you have to sing it out really loud, perhaps in the shower, in order to exorcise it from your body as if the very devil himself has tried to take you over.

Know what I mean?

Well here's what's been trying to kill me recently. (Obviously, I love it really).

Oh God that's awful. It makes me grateful that my current song of harrassment is 'Make a Move on Me' by Olivia Newton John.

I like the new look.

Yes, there's suddenly loads of new templates and backgrounds to choose from. I like this one. Very Twin Peaks.

God, I'm not playing that one. It'll get into my head and I'll be stuck with it. Your ruse failed.

I was thinking more The Muppet Show. I'm expecting you to burst through the curtains and introduce your special guest, Lynda Carter, in the style of Kermit The Frog.

I can certainly do that, Chris. Give me five minutes.

Go on, ISBW. You know you can't resist.
